A Little More About Elevated Imagery

If you were wanting a little bit more of a peek into who we are and what we do, you've come to the right place!

My name is Meric, pronounced like 'America' without the A's. I'm the head photographer and digital artist behind Elevated Imagery. My studio is frequently assisted by my wonderful friend, muse, and model, Harper, as well as my soon-to-be husband, Trevor.

Elevated Imagery was a seed planted in the spring of 2019, at a really pivotal point in my life. As a new mom, I wanted to be able to work a schedule that worked for my child as much as it did for me. I longed for freedom, and knew that the path to it is uncharted. So I started with what I knew I was good at and had been awarded for: art.

As a teenager, I experimented heavily with my Nikon trying to capture what I could see with my mind's eye. No sooner than I did that, I started to understand there was more to creating stunning photographs than just clicking the shutter button. Over the last 10 years, I have dedicated myself to learning and mastering the craft. I am predominantly self-taught in posing, composition, and lighting all the way to post-production and editing. I believe being self-taught has given me more self-confidence and kept me well-rounded as an artist, and that reflects in the quality of your photographs.

Nowadays, I find purpose in creating beautiful stills that allow my clients to travel back in time to that moment whenever they look at them. I find meaning in creating sempiternal artwork that speaks to the humanity and individuality in each of us. I love reflecting on photographs; that rush of realizing where we've been and just how far we've come. I am blessed to experience the rush of creating memories that you can cherish for the rest of your life, and I don't plan on stopping any time soon.
